William Scott

A major figure in the post-war scene in Britain, Scott's paintings offer a masterclass in placement, texture, colour and balance. Also a very talented printmaker, his work is something every collector of this period needs to know about.

The four volume catalogue raisonne, published in 2013, takes you deep into the work of this important artist, as does Norbert Lynton's wonderful monograph. The many exhibition catalogues from across the years help to elucidate different elements of Scott's oeuvre, and we have also brought together several volumes where Scott is seen alongside his contemporaries.
