Published in 2020 to coincide with the opening of Bath Spa University's new campus, this publication looks back at well over a century of arts teaching.

It has particular resonance for the Modern British world through the connection to the years at Corsham Court where from 1946 there was an amazing role-call of teaching staff across the various disciplines, several of whom were incredibly influential. While Clifford Ellis was principal, William Scott was Head of Painting in the late forties and early 50s, Kenneth Armitage was Head of Sculpture and Henry Cliffe was Head of Lithography, and the roster of visiting teachers was just as impressive, including Terry Frost, Peter Lanyon, Howard Hodgkin and many others.

An interesting and well-illustrated read, filled with lots of information.
