Kettle's Yard in Cambridge is something of a shrine to a particular kind of British modernist taste.

Created as a home by Jim and Helen Ede in the late 1950s and early 1960s, it nevertheless was shaped by the associations, ideas and friendships they had made much earlier and especially in the years between the world wars.
