Whilst nearly all of the books we sell have a prime role as carriers of information, how they look is an important part of the appeal for a reader.

We all know the pleasing difference between using a stylish, well presented volume (with a good index!) and a rather less user-friendly edition, so we thought we might draw your attention to some books and catalogues which look good as well as delivering the goods too.

This is a very personal selection, being examples where the cover image and design, the fonts used or the overall design just appealed to us!
