The whole in very clean and tidy condition, the slipcase with some minor tanning to the faces, the volumes both very good, some signs of light use and the owner's name in ink on the first flyleaf. Lionello Puppi's 1973 monograph and catalogue raisonne on Andrea Palladio's architecture is still a landmark publication. Beautifully produced and extensively illustrated throughout with black and white photographs, some amazingly atmospheric, of the buildings and designs of an architect who has probably influenced more buildings over a longer period in Western Europe and North America than anyone else.
