The authoritative publication on the substantial body of graphic work that William Nicholson produced throughout his career. The book looks at each of the great series of prints, many of which, such as An Alphabet or London Types, have become extremely well-known, or individual images, such as Queen Victoria. There are several appendices, and the whole volume is filled with illustrations in both colour and black and white.
A key tome on this important figure in British printmaking in the late c19th and early c20th period.
