Author: Georg Eisler (intro.) et al.
Publisher: Royal Academy of Arts
Date: 1971

Published to accompany the major 1971 Royal Academy exhibition, this huge show (nearly 600 exhibited listed) of the movement which sought to break away from the traditional academies was very wide-ranging in the areas covered and included a lot of decorative and applied arts as well as big names such as Klimt and Schiele.
The linen-covered hardback seems to be relatively rare - there was a standard hardback edition with a printed cover - although it is unclear what it was for. I have seen it suggested that this was for lenders or patrons of the RA but I can't confirm that. However, it is done to a high standard
