The Hungarian op-art pioneer Vasarely was already quite a well established name in Europe when he held this 1961 exhibition at London's Hanover Gallery, but this may well have been his first solo exhibition in London. Whilst interesting for the works included, the catalogue itself is a great piece of period design, from the eye-popping cover image to the loose insert which allows you to create your own abstract image inside!
