The standard reference on Adams' work, this very comprehensive catalogue raisonne is accompanied by several short essays introducing each phase of his oeuvre. Illustrated throughout in black and white, it also includes several period shots showing the sculptures in situ.
Although part of the famous 'Aspects of British Sculpture' generation, his work is not as well-known as contemporaries such as Chadwick or Meadows, yet it is often rather beautiful and he frequently combines both organic and mathematical influences to achieve his end results.
A book for not only the Adams' devotee but anyone interested in British sculpture in the post-1945 period.
