A landmark show, not least for the content, but also for the catalogue. Using a detail of Bridget Riley's 1964 painting Current for the cover made for a rather eye-popping experience but also made Riley very much the 'face' of the exhibition. The imagery was very much of the moment and Riley found her work being appropriated by advertising and fashion brands without her permission, an episode which still echoes now with the debates about imagery, appropriation and copyright in the age of AI.
