Apart from some very light shelf-marking to the slipcase, the whole ensemble is in extremely good condition, very lightly used. Each volume is very clean tight and, excepting a pencil notation to the first floating endpaper of volume II, unmarked.
This magisterial example of scholarship is one of the foundation stones of Cezanne studies, listing over 1200 drawings by the artist, each with annotated catalogue entries. Chappuis offers an introduction, bibliography and concordance tables as well, giving us an extremely comprehensive insight into the drawings of Cezanne.
