Although there was a revised and expanded later edition of this book, the original volume still has great material for collectors and those researching Sickert. The writing by Wendy Baron, the doyenne of Sickert specialists, is wonderful and the information on each entry very comprehensive.
She is particularly good at drawing together the many versions, painted and drawn, of each composition which makes this an especially valuable volume for the owners and collectors of Sickert's work.
