A Finnish ceramicist and artist, Rut Bryk is seen as a notable figure in Finnish ceramics in the mid c20th. In the 1960s her work moved towards large complex three-dimensional mosaic-type pieces and it is these which were exhibited in this 1970 Stedelijk Museum show.
