The first ROSC exhibition took place in Dublin in 1967 with the intention of bringing together the work of lrish and international artists side by side for a major presentation. Further instalments happened in 1971, 1977 and 1980 before this, the fifth iteration, took place. The scope of the exhibition, held at the Guinness Hop Store in Dublin, was wide ranging, covering painting and sculpture and primarily artists from Europe, Britain and the US, including some very big names.
