If you can forgive the totally of-the-time font choice of the cover, this is a great book on a great artist. Not as lavish in the colour plates as we are now used to, it nevertheless is a work any collector of post-war British abstraction should have on their shelves.
It also includes what was until recently the most comprehensive attempt to list Lanyon's catalogue of his paintings and which is still a very valuable resource.
