Published to accompany an exhibition of sculpture, largely shown outdoors, in Bristol in 1968 organised by the Arnolfini Gallery, the work is largely abstract polished and coloured sculpture very much in the vein of Caro and his pupils and followers. The catalogue, designed by Jeremy Rees, is in the manner of the Gordon House style which had become the go-to style for modern exhibitions in the 1960s, but has the additional and rather stylish lift of adding printed flat colours to the in situ photos, several of which also include passers-by interacting with the sculptures.
Quite a scarce item of interest to both sculpture aficionados and those connected to the cultural history of Bristol and the Arnolfini Gallery
