A relatively scarce item, this catalogue, designed by Richard Hamilton and Gordon House, was published to accompany a party at the Tate Gallery for ICA friends and members during the run of the Max Ernst retrospective. Including an essay by the notoriously combative surrealist artist and writer Toni del Renzio, images of Ernst and his work by Lee Miller and a slew of period advertising (Sotheby's, Marlborough, Gimpel Fils etc.), this would be rather an interesting addition to the shelves of anyone interested in Ernst and his period.
