The catalogue to Nevelson's first London exhibition, held at the Hanover Gallery in 1963, it includes several of her painted wood assemblage sculptures. During the run of the show, Nevelson was interviewed by the critic David Sylvester and the recording broadcast on the BBC in 1964. This interview is now seen as an important early statement by an artist who was then only just emerging onto the international stage.
Quite a scarce item, and with statement typography to the front cover!
