Condition: A very clean and tidy copy of this catalogue, some extremely minor shelfmarking along the bottom edge of cover, otherwise very good.

A retrospective exhibition of the work of the preceding decade held at the Museum of Modern Art in Oxford in 1981, the show included over seventy paintings, drawings and works on paper including several series which would become the most celebrated of Kossoff's career. These include several paintings and studies from the Childrens' Swimming Pool group, a number of views of Hackney and Dalston Lane and his most regular sitters such as Fidelma. Although largely illustrated in black and white, this somehow seems to suit the very particular vision of Kossoff.
