Condition: The third edition of the second volume in the series, this example has the original dust wrapper over the ivory linen and green embossed boards. The wrapper is a little scuffed and chipped along the edges and has a small tear to the top of the spine. The boards are a little tanned at the edges. Internally apparently complete, clean and tidy. Inside front cover bears the bookseller's label for John Tiranti Ltd. Text in English, German and French
Part of the exhaustive series of eight volumes covering the works and career of one of the architectural titans of the c20th, this book looks at the 1929-34 period and a period when he was becoming well-established and creating some notable buildings including the landmark Villa Savoye. Well illustrated with copious plans and photographs as well as extensive notes and quotes from Le Corbusier making this a very valuable document for the student of this period of architecture.
