Not commonly seen, this catalogue of a 1987 Marlborough exhibition was conceived to tie in with the golden jubilee of The Georgian Group. It is hard to imagine another artist whose work would have been more suitable, and thus the images of Castle Howard, Renishaw, Stowe, Badminton and others cast an interesting light on Piper's own role in the rehabilitation of this period of British architecture.
A useful and interesting addition to the shelves of the Piper enthusiast!
