Published to accompany his 1969 Marlborough exhibition of recent works, this catalogue of Piper's paintings reinforces that, whilst we tend to think of him as being a very English painter, he did in fact travel rather more widely. The paintings here are mostly of locations in Wales and Scotland, Belgium and France, those being largely in the Dordogne region.
