In very good condition, very little used if at all, in the original printed card slipcase. There is a small area of wear to the base of the spine. Sketchbooks were a key part of Picasso's working process, but many of these were kept to himself, unknown to scholars and even close friends. This volume presents over 400 images drawn from the full range of the sketchbooks, dating from his first days in Paris to the 1960s and thus connect closely with some of the most important works and ideas by this most fertile and influential artist.
