The very scarce catalogue of a 1964 exhibition of artists' glassware at the Ca' Giustinian in Venice.

The exhibition was an opportunity to showcase the work done by the historic glassmakers of Venice to bring the ideas of a host of leading international artists to fruition, and was very much the brainchild of Egidio Costantini, described in the foreword as the 'Vollard of the artistic glass', was an important figure in the revival of the fortunes of Venetian glassmaking, bringing big collectors and supporters in, notably Peggy Guggenheim, and reconnecting the artists with the master makers.

This connection and Costantini's role is to be celebrated in a forthcoming exhibition in November 2026 at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice
