Condition: Very good, a clean, tight and unmarked example of this useful catalogue. Loosely inserted is a sheet detailing the lectures and concerts which would take place during the run of the exhibition. How civilised!

Whilst Sutherland's later years are well-documented, the work he produced in the 1920s and early 1930s is much less well-known and this very interesting catalogue for a 1986 exhibition at Goldsmiths' Gallery covers that period. From the Samuel Palmer-esque etchings through the beginnings of his neo-romantic landscape imagery, this is a useful addition to the library of any Sutherland enthusiast.
