The first major monograph and catalogue of Frink’s sculpture, it remains a key text for
anyone collecting her work and includes much information about the artist and her working methods.
Filled with interesting essays and lots of wonderful photographs, including a large group taken by Jorge Lewinski of the sculptures in settings, both indoors and outdoors, this manages to be both a functional book with the catalogue of sculpture, but also a visual treat. Frink's larger sculptures, particularly those photographed outdoors, had a massive presence and really inhabit the spaces in which they are placed.
A must-have volume for anyone interested in Frink or British sculpture in the post-war period
