An important catalogue in the canon of Wadsworth literature, this 1974 Colnaghi exhibition which it accompanied was a milestone in the reappraisal of this significant figure in british modernism. A distinguished painter and printmaker, Wadsworth was central to Vorticism, created some of the most memorable images of WWI, including the 'dazzle ship' prints and paintings, and then made a very particular kind of still life in the 20s and 30s virtually his own territory.
An ambitiously produced catalogue, it was until the publication of the catalogue raisonne in 2006, the most useful volume of Wadsworth for decades and still repays attention now. Beautifully designed by Richard Hollis, it looks great on your shelves too!
