Condition: Spiral bound with clear plastic sheet over the gold and black printed cover with applied gallery label. Typography by Gordon House, the funky period layout of this catalogue is quite something, including the sheets of green opaque tissue over the catalogue lists. Generally tidy and complete. Old shop price sticker to the reverse

The design of Paolozzi's catalogues was often really interesting and this one, using plenty of the graphic designer tropes of the time, is no slouch. The cut-out images of the polished sculptures alongside the photographs of the industrial workshops where the pieces were actually made gives a nice contrast. The slightly OpArt cover still tricks your eyes and the whole thing has more than a whiff of the Swinging London style of Antonioni's Blow Up about it!
