Published to accompany Chadwick's 1984 exhibition of new work at Marlborough Fine Art, this show comprised mostly his walking or seated couple sculptures, on both domestic and monumental scales. 

By this time, Chadwick was one of the world's best known and most commercially successful modern sculptors and such pieces were being sold to an international audience. The photography is very atmospheric, with several of the larger pieces being shot at Lypiatt Park, the artist's home near Stroud. 

The catalogue also includes useful previous exhibition listings as well as photographs of some of the sculptures during the making process.
