Produced to accompany a 2019 RIBA exhibition, this very useful catalogue gives a general survey of the background to the connections between the Bauhaus alumni and their British peers. The influx of émigré architects to Britain in the late 1930s gave a vital fillip to progressive architecture circles and the notes within this volume give useful background to not only the impact on domestic design but also those for industrial and educational building design.
