Condition: A very good copy of this volume, the linen boards clean and unmarked with the exception of one flake missing from the embossed white foil of the title, inside very good, the owner's initials in pencil to the title page and two minor pencil annotations to particular entries. Also loosely inserted is a review by Marco Livingstone from the December 2007 issue of The Art Newspaper.

The essential guide to Nicholson's extensive print ouevre, this was published to accompany an almost unrepeatable exhibition at Alan Cristea Gallery in 2007. Mostly drawn from the Rentsch Collection augmented by loans, the exhibition and book sought to compile as complete as possible catalogue of the works. However, Nicholson's inventiveness in the medium and the ways in which works were often hand-coloured or altered make it just less than a full catalogue raisonne. 

However, for the enthusiast of c20th printmaking, a fan of Nicholson's art or the professional cataloguer or researcher, this book is an absolute must.
