Although not so well-known now, Seymour Haden was one of the biggest names in British printmaking during the c19th. His etchings and drypoints are a tour de force in technical skill, tied to a style that shows hints of contemporaries such as Constable, Turner and Whistler. This volume is the standard reference work on his printed output and as such is a key work for students, dealers and collectors of the his large oeuvre.
