Barbara Hepworth now open at Fondation Maeght

The new exhibition Barbara Hepworth: Art & Life is now open at the Fondation Maeght until 2nd November 2025 before it then travels to Kunstmuseum Pablo Picasso in Munster until March 2026.
We are all familiar with the images of Barbara by the sea in St.Ives, Cornwall, but her work is currently available to see near a different coast; at St.Paul-de-Vence, close to Nice and the French Mediterranean. This survey exhibition covers not only her sculptures but also paintings, drawings and prints and includes loans from both public and private collections. Beautifully curated by Eleanor Clayton, Head of Collection and Exhibitions at Hepworth Wakefield, it looks to be a treat for anyone visiting the South of France this summer.
The catalogue is a rather gorgeous bilingual publication with plenty of illustrations and interesting texts. However, as we all know, Hepworth is well-served on the literature front and we are pleased to have a group of some of the essential publications available at the moment.
