Internally very clean and tidy, one annotation to the first floating endpaper; illustrated throughout in black and white and colour.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDubuffet had been shown in New York several times since the late 1940s\u003c\/strong\u003e by the Pierre Matisse Gallery but this show was his first one-man exhibition in an institutional setting.
